Uno de estos materiales es el CEM-1, compuesto por superficies de tejido de vidrio y un n\u00facleo de papel combinados con resina epoxi. CEM-1 ofrece excelentes propiedades el\u00e9ctricas, una mayor resistencia a la flexi\u00f3n en comparaci\u00f3n con los grados a base de papel, y se puede perforar f\u00e1cilmente hasta un espesor de .093\u2033. Sin embargo, debido a su n\u00facleo de papel, CEM-1 no es adecuado para el metalizado pasante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otro material de la categor\u00eda CEM es el CEM-3, que es similar al material FR4 ampliamente utilizado. CEM-3 utiliza un tipo diferente de tejido, conocido como \"moscas\", y es un material ign\u00edfugo de placa de vidrio revestida de cobre epoxi.
