Comme le FR-1, le FR-2 utilise plusieurs couches dans sa construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le FR-2 a une temp\u00e9rature de transition vitreuse (TG) plus basse de 105\u02daC, compar\u00e9e \u00e0 la TG de 130\u02daC du FR-1. Cette temp\u00e9rature de transition vitreuse plus basse indique que le FR-2 est plus sensible \u00e0 la chaleur et que ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physiques peuvent \u00eatre modifi\u00e9es \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus basses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le terme \"FR\" dans FR-2 signifie \"Flame Retardant 2\". Cette d\u00e9signation signifie que le mat\u00e9riau est con\u00e7u pour \u00eatre ignifug\u00e9 et qu'il est conforme \u00e0 la norme UL94V-0, qui \u00e9value l'inflammabilit\u00e9 des mat\u00e9riaux plastiques.
